  3. In addition to our new Developer Press survey, I shall on occasion be asking Developer CD-specific questions in this space.  This month's question:

  5. Do you need to be able to access the Developer CD from a Macintosh running System 6.0.x?
  6.  
  7. Building a System 6 Desktop file on the CD requires us to waste 15-20Mb per disc of combined Desktop file size and required free space.  If the vast majority of developers do not need this capability, we would like to discontinue building this file and utilize the much-needed space.

  9. So, if you must access the DevCD from a System 6 machine, please drop me a line at dev.cd@applelink.apple.com or AppleLink DEV.CD with a brief explanation of your situation.
